About
40 Questions is a blog written by three friends asking questions of life, themselves, and each other about what happens after you grow up.
It turns out that turning 40 doesn’t mean that all of your life is settled. On the contrary: decisions that once seemed final—jobs, kids, spouses, house—open up again. A body that once seemed pretty reliable starts to ask its own questions, and ask them more insistently. The future is a question that is as open today as it was when we were 20 and still imagining what life would bring, except now we’re smart enough to know that the real question is what we’re bringing to life.
